one years ago March 25, 51 John L. Smith arrived in the state of

By now an avid student of Mormonism, Smith (no relation to Joseph Smith)
continued his studies and over the years and became quite a student of
Mormonism.
About 1968, Smith moved back to Oklahoma where he had grown up, but
continued his studies, speaking engagements, writing, etc., finally
writing 10 books, several of which were reprinted as many as five to ten
times, with from 2,000 to 10,000 per printing.

He has spoken as many as 377 times in a year, from coast to coast

He believes that Mormonism is a cult. It meets all the
qualifications of a cult.
It has a human leader, it has its own book of scripture, it is
work-oriented, it teaches that Christ is not enough, one needs a
prophet, and it grows largely by proselytizing, (convincing people to
leave their churches and become Mormon)..
It does not seek the unchurched, but its main effort is finding already
sincere, moral, hard working and people, and telling them
that Christ is not enough. They need a prophet!
Comprising about 70 percent of the people
Mormonism teaches that the Bible is not a dependable book of scripture,
they believe marriage performed in one of their 100 and more temples
may continue in heaven where men may have hundreds of wives, but
women can have only one husband.
